Little Flower Church and School
presents:
A Festival of Lessons and Carols
Friday, December 15 at 7:00 PM
Little Flower Catholic Church
Experience the hope, peace, joy and love of an Advent tradition! Prepare ye the way of the Lord, Jesus Christ! On this special night, you wil hear scripture readings with carols sung in English and Latin. Assembly singing will be encouraged and supported by the choirs of Little Flower: The Adult Sunday Choir, The Corpuz Siblings Ensemble and the Children's School Choir.
Because the cost of the school fleece jacket may be prohibitive for some, for the 2023-2024 school year, students will have the option to wear a plain, black fleece jacket from Amazon Essentials. This will be a test year to evaluate whether to add this to our uniform options in
future school years. The guidelines for the Amazon Essentials jacket are as follows:
*Amazon Essentials brand (no other brand will be accepted; tags will be checked; jackets without tags will not be allowed)
*long sleeves (no vests, 3/4 sleeves, or other sleeve lengths)
*solid black polar fleece (no sherpa or ‘fluffy’ style fleece; no external designs, stitching, or colors)
*no hood
*full zip (no half zip or pullovers allowed)
Kid's Sizes. Adult Women’s Sizes . Adult Men’s Sizes
Please make sure to check the size chart online for the correct size, and make sure to order only the solid black color. The cost of these jackets are approximately $15-25 at Amazon. This is the only school
approved alternative to the school fleece jacket. Fleece jackets of other brands, colors, or styles will not be permitted to be worn inside the classroom and will be treated as unofficial outerwear described
elsewhere in the dress code guidelines.
Friday, December 8th is the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary, and a Holy Day of Obligation.
The school Mass for that week will be held at 10 AM on Friday, rather than the usual 8:15 AM on Tuesday.
